Say how the day went. Vidlun names what you feel.
How it works
Four steps and the entry is in your journal.
-
1 / 4
Tap and talk
Talk the way you like, pauses included. The text appears right away and the audio stays on your phone.
-

Name what you feel
Vidlun offers the emotions closest to what you said. Pick one or several, or add your own. The mood and the topics sit on the same card.

Come back to any entry
Every entry has its own page: your words, your voice, the mood, the emotions and the topics. With a subscription, Vidlun adds one short sentence, the echo. It describes what was said and gives no advice or grades.

Entries add up to a picture
Mood by day, the topics that keep coming back, and your own vocabulary of emotions. With a subscription, Vidlun writes once a month about what it noticed in your entries.
What Vidlun does
Audio never leaves your phone
A recording is kept on the device for thirteen months, then deleted. The text stays for good.
A vocabulary of 125 emotions
From “joy” to “the good kind of tired”. Words, not emoji, so you can name your states more precisely.
Week and events
Mood by day, and events that mark what came before and after: a move, a new job.
A minute for yourself
A short grounding exercise: look around, listen, feel. Nothing is recorded.
Privacy
No account, no sign-up, no analytics.
Audio stays on your phone.
Only the text of an entry goes to the server, to name the emotion, and never your name.

FAQ
Do I need internet?
Not for recording and recognition. To have Vidlun name the emotion, yes. Without it the entry is saved with your word and the answer comes later.
Is this therapy?
No. Vidlun is a journal. It describes what was said and gives no advice, grades or medical conclusions.
Where are my entries?
On your phone. A backup is a file you keep yourself. Audio is not part of it.
Is there an Android version?
iPhone only for now.
